Yes, right wing press just hammer people daily to get the desired outcome. I do think the more 'balanced' media outlets need to do the same. Point of order but I think she claimed to have won the girls U14 British Chess Championship. This is a category in the British Women's Chess Association Girls' Championships (where you win as a team) rather than the UK U14 British Chess Championship. The whole argument is about semantics.
