Those on benefits will love this one, free BBC license. Whilst the rest of working British pay for it.

More and more will cancel till the BBC cannot function

Already a thing for those over 75 on Pension Credit, but imagine the uproar of that was taken away...

Another not so subtle way of demonising those on Universal Credit. If people actually realised how demeaning and challenging a process it is I don't think they'd be so quick to judge.

Seems to be something Lisa Nandy is considering as part of a review of benefits.

Can't see any detail but I doubt it would be universal. Could perhaps be linked to serious health conditions or, like free prescriptions, capped at a (not very high) income.
