I agree. My frustration isn't with hotel numbers it's with Labour continually "If it's good it's our doing, if it's bad it's the previous Conservatives doing". Time they took some responsibility for what's happening and stopped trying to blame everybody else.

I wouldn't get your hopes too high given that the tories were still blaming the previous labour government in 2024 after 14 years of being in power.

I've gone to work in odd shoes as have at least one colleague. Easily done if you dress in the dark to avoid disturbing a sleeping partner.

DIdn't realise until I looked to check where I was putting my feet getting off a train.

I guess it's possible if your shoes are all very similar (I've got a few pairs of black brogues for work). But as you'll see from the photo, Ms Abbott managed to put a left shoe on her right foot. That takes a special level of stupid.

Mine were identical except one was black and other brown.

For whatever reason Dianne is not what she was intellectually or as a speaker. Could be her diabetes; could be something else.

Gives whole new dimensions of depth & significance to the suggestion that the UK is a binfire.

I guess the SNP will be happy.
Another chance to start their own binfire.

I'm not sure how much weight to give a "Stats for Lefties" projection touted by Darren "Craftywank" Grimes, so I looked at their "Our Community" page:

Hmmm, not very informative, so how about their Panel Methodology?

Never heard of it, but it looks like natural Reform supporters' territory. Does anyone on here visit this "free" daily "lottery"?

Come on Keith (and McSweeney obviously) - f*ck off. Or more to the point - Labour members, you want something different, what are you going to do about it?

The big problem they (and all political parties) face is that very few people are Party members and to win an election you have to appeal to the wider electorate which often means going against the ethos and principles of Party members. At the end of the day most of the electorate are pretty centrist.
