The big problem they (and all political parties) face is that very few people are Party members and to win an election you have to appeal to the wider electorate right wing press which often means going against the ethos and principles of Party members. At the end of the day most of the electorate are pretty centrist.

Have you looked at the latest polling?

You don't think that would give rise to a call for independence? Really?

And how would independence happen with no devolved government in Scotland? After Reform had removed the mechanism for running an independent Scotland?

Apropos of nothing, Starmer has hinted at similar 'reforms' himself.

Yeah but I think that's just disillusionment with the traditional Parties rather than a lurch to the Right. People are being told these things, mainly immigration, are the source of all the countries woes and it is an easy fix. As the traditional Parties haven't fixed things they are prepared to believe the nonsense. Farage is a complete @rsehole but he manages to put right-wing rhetoric across as being reasonable. If they do win the next GE and people get to experience the reality that I suspect, at best, will resemble the last couple of years of the previous Government there will be a lot of regret.

There is no official policy from Reform to reverse devolution. So you are probably listening to some random noise from one of the headless chickens in the party.

Neither has Labour, incidentally. I think you are conflating the stance on things like a further referendum and actually applying the current boundaries of the devolved and reserved powers as limiting them.

The SNP has consistent sought to develope independent foreign policy, for example, which is reserved. The last government quite rightly told them to stop spending their money on it and to stop undercutting UK foreign policy.

Maybe true, but what it doesn't indicate is that Starmer's attempt to woo back the Reform minded is working.

A good old Corbynite agenda, that worked the last couple of times, didn't it? I say go for it
Here's our resident Thatcherite, who apparently thinks the current Thatcherite PM is left wing. Feel free to comment when you have something useful to say @Stevo 666.
