Boris lasted less than 3 years from a landslide. That's the current "Derby County's points total".Add the word 'attempted' and let me know. Because its clearly what Burnham was trying to do.

Not always, just sometimes. But well done for trying to be patronising, a spot of inverse snobbery always brightens up a dull Monday 😉

Oh look - that even got a laugh from Andy The Cunt! It must be nice to get some audience validation, I guess.
Even if he has no more idea what the hell you're wanking on about than you do!
Well your maths isn't great, because Bungle was (i) actually out of office by then and (ii) it was less than 3 years. So twice as long as Starmer. Not a looking good for The Stalek.

If Burnham were to be in Westminster again I think it would take at least a year for him to be in a position to challenge. So it is touch and go already to beat Bungle's record.
As others have pointed out, Burnham has shot himself in the foot by appearing duplicitous and opportunistic. He has also tried and failed to be leader twice already.
So I think the media is looking in the wrong place for the first leadership challenge, and it will be from within the current PLP.

Yeah but they appeared to have some very good equality policy where any MP who wanted a go at being PM was given a chance. It should be admired, even Truss was given her chance.
As Stevo regularly reminded us over on CS when Johnson was fucking everything up, he still had an 80-ish seat majority.
Labour's is now down to 168, with an election in 2029.
I think Streeting would need to separate himself from Starmer a bit/lot. His current main strength seems to be more of the same but with a bit more charisma (although I don't admire his competence much - he's got some big stuff wrong that lucky for him wasn't widely reported).Streeting and Rayner are the likely challengers, but suspect they will wait and choose their time.
