Will be interesting to see what the impact is and if homeworking re Covid has an effect. I do wonder if there are less commuters then it may end up more prolonged.

I hope the RMT does better for its members than my former union managed for healthcare workers. It'll be interesting to see if the strikes spread, I saw something about criminal barristers being prepared to walk out. My current union has a no strike policy so I'll be at work whatever.

According to Mr Cookiemonster, who is a barrister, said that barristers in England and Wales have walked out until Monday.

The summer of discontent has begun it seems.
Long hot summers often result in inner city riots. It doesn’t take much to set them off and the government aren’t helping.
