Chuffed for you,you deserve it ! Let's hope they can secure something decent for Royal Mail, although I fear it's going to be a bitter battle there. They really do want to run it into the ground by the looks of things.

It’s not looking good is it, it’s a war now ! Don’t think our CEO will back down and neither the union so on it goes . Not a postie but caught in the crossfire with this , not alot will change for us, Saturday night shifts , about it. T&Cs the major thing but again it’s the sick pay aspect only . Annualised hrs etc doesn’t make sense for us at all .

Thompson is a piece of work isn't he !
Deducting annual leave from posties who go on strike !
It's shameful that we allow companies in this country to underpay the workers who run it while paying bosses and shareholders a fortune.Thompson on over 62 grand a month.Trouble is the public aren't really aware what Royal Mail have been up to instructing staff to leave letters and just deliver parcels etc.Definately a bigger agenda at play !

When the government and/or employer resorts to this you know you’re winning.

These are the conditions management want the workers to sign.

Just familiarise yourself with those and ask yourself if you'd be happy to sign that in your job!

And now Border Force staff are set to strike at various UK airports over Christmas.

Border Force staff are going on strike over Christmas at Heathrow, Gatwick and several other airports, the PCS union has announced.
Thousands of other civil servants - including driving test examiners - will also be taking industrial action.
PCS General Secretary Mark Serwotka said the strikes would "escalate" unless the government was prepared "to put money on the table now".
He said his union's members could not afford to put the heating on at home.
