This is gibbering nonsense, Spen, and saying it twice doesn't make it make sense.
Actually I'm not sure that it is. The complainant has apparently resolved her differences with her partner and has repaired the relationship. He may also have learned a few things also. But it is their family and their relationship. The key difference now is that new stress will be added to that family unit by dint of the fact that he is now jobless. I'm sure he's got some cash in the bank though.

I can see parallels with the 1975 trying to make a point in Malaysia and the Malaysian LGBT community complaining that they were idiots and had just made everything worse not better.

Sometimes a pile on is not the best way to do things - just because *you* think it should happen, doesn't mean that you are right.

Wow you know a lot about how it's going for her. I guess you're mates or something. From the outside all we can see is that she withdrew co-operation with the prosecution and he posted an Insta image of weeny baby hands, which she also posted. I suppose some people find this touching, and not manipulative on his part. Domestic abuse often escalates during pregnancy and continues after a child is born, but hey - maybe she's been lucky and he bucks the trend, despite there being nothing whatsoever that would suggest this, and despite his falsely claiming to have been 'cleared'. There's no longer any other content on her Insta profile, despite her having been a successful model and SM 'influencer' until she dared to reveal that her famous boyfriend is abusive. But yeah, carry on reassuring us that it would all be fine if it weren't for the meanies that won't give the nice young talented rapist a second chance.

Strangely you are ignoring the effect your actions have on the complainant.

Tell me how forcing her partner out of work is respecting her and her decision to remain with Greenwood.

She is the alleged victim.
She had chosen to remain with Greenwood

How is it possible for one man’s actions to overshadow a whole nation’s sporting achievement.

Rubiales simply has zero credibility and must go. 11 coaches have resigned and FIFA have suspended him.

Disasterclass was how I saw it described. It's only a provisional suspension though but at least it lasts until he goes in front of a hearing. I'm sure this is consensual....

You are actually arguing that public reaction to celebrity abusers should echo the dynamic of the abusive relationship. It's a no from me.

I'm arguing you should respect the wishes of the complainant.

What on earth makes you think I don't?

I think you can respect the young woman's right not to cooperate, and her decision to stay with Greenwood (for whatever reason), but appreciate that this doesn't mean clubs and sponsors should be expected to ignore what looks like clear evidence of coercive behaviour. You can't make such decisions contingent on the victim's own view because there are all sorts of reasons why people stay in such relationships, and in effect you make them responsible for the abuser's future career, finances, mental wellbeing, and put them under more pressure.

How can clubs or sponsors base commercial decision making on what "something looks like"? You have to go with a factual analysis. The club did that and found that they had no basis to chuck him out. The Police investigated but had no basis to prosecute.

Whether what you think happened happened or not, the only person who can corroborate what *actually* happened is the alleged victim and they have chosen to draw a line under it.
