I wonder if he tried kissing any of the locals.

I'd actually forgotten about him playing in Scotland, which is surprising considering that foreign players at wee clubs are usually an anomaly compared to the usual journeymen or lower English league players someone's taken a punt on because they look handy in Championship Manager.

That is exactly what companies base decisions on every day. Its not unique to this scenario
and there was me thinking that the successful companies use extensive research and analysis to establish as much information as possible in order to formulate a recommendation to the board about whether or not a project should go forward.

Clearly they just go on what Mavis said because she heard Janet talking to Jim down the corridor.

Have you seen how most PL teams are run? They really don’t follow your model at all.

All of the project teams I have been in have used PRINCE2 methodology where a business case has to be made for the project and board approval given before it can be started. This is the modern standard. The business case has to be robust and fully supported both financially, technically and ethically.

PRINCE2? Lol. Fancy pants for Agile. Neither methodology works IME, but you can spend a lot of money learning how to do it.

Professional football is a business. I would expect a thorough investigation. They carried one out. Just like the Police before them, they found no grounds for dismissal. Due to the social media frenzy from armchair warriors however they had discussions with the player and agreed mutually that they needed to part ways.

It doesn't matter that he has not been found guilty of anything, or that the alleged victim did not want any prosecution or action taken the social media masses have pronounced their judgement. Trial by social media is not a good thing.

And yet here you are, on social media, contributing to that "frenzy", albeit in a far less publicised way than other platforms.

The comments and images are there for all to see.

Greenwood's partner has decided to drop charges, which is her prerogative. If she's happy with that decision then so be it. It's not one I necessarily agree with, but I can understand where it's come from.

Apparently a Frenzy is when you want abusers held to account by the club they represent. If you clamour for the club to look the other way it's all very Calm and Rational.

A frenzy is when you label someone an abuser without any evidence.

Yebbut you're a nerd.

We are not talking about IT or similar projects here but day to day business and marketing decisions, a lot of which are based on what it would look like (or at least what their focus groups/PR think it would look like) to their target market.

As a side note I am amazed the Prince model is still around. I must have last used it 30+ years ago when I was a nerd.
