I heard a rumour that Man U has seen the light regarding James Ratcliffe. Shows that the management might have a little good sense, if late.

What "light"? It's not exactly a secret that he's a ruthless dickhead when it comes to unpopular decisions so it's going to have to be something pretty spectacular to eclipse that.

That guy was only there on a work placement for a month, working on soft tissue manipulation or some such. From a Man. United perspective it is probably a non story.

In reality is this not a Brailsford story?

Salah has "called out" UEFA for their tribute to Suleiman al-Obeid:

To be honest I'm not entirely sure what he hopes to gain by doing this, because UEFA aren't going to tell him anything that we don't already suspect. Also the fact that the Israel national side and league teams are allowed to compete in UEFA/FIFA sanctioned tournaments pretty much says everything about where their allegiances lie.

I booked a meeting room in Croyden in a Government building. It is the only time I have been in a meeting where every leg of the table was bolted to the floor and every leg of each of the four chairs around the table were on short chains, again bolted to the floor.

I can well believe that. I used to live about 6 miles from Croydon and avoided it like the plague. The only time I had to go there was on jury duty. The 'Croydon Facelift' is still (in)famous.

There is a large government asylum processing centre there.
The centre of Croydon isn’t very nice.
