Royal Hall, Albert?

It's my new categorisation system. It keeps all my Royal Halls listed together.

I have two questions -

1. Do all musicians know each other?
2. Do all Welsh people know each other?
3. If yes to 1 or 2, is communication via some sort of fungus that controls you all?

Damn, I'll come in again...

Well, I have met BS a couple of times as his family were members of my cycling club and I sang at his niece’s wedding. Don’t think I know anyone else on here though, not even the Welsh or the musicians (but then I’m not a musician myself).

It does make me laugh when an organiser says "Can the singers come back at 2pm and the musicians at 2.30 please?"

Does knowing one with a pseudonym on two cycling forums count as 'knowing' them?

Not any more than a musician "playing his instrument" might be misconstrued.

Decided to bite the bullet and commit to going on the Argentina tour although others are currently asking about the political situation regarding recent chat about The Falklands. Personally I feel it is all just chat stoked by the orange loon’s recent utterances and one of those things that gets raised every now and then. No-one avoids Spain when they start banging on about Gibraltar again.

One for @briantrumpet I was looking at booking a Eurostar train which connected to the TGV at Lille. It's a lot cheaper to do this on the SNCF website, but then the connection is not guaranteed, so a late Eurostar means new TGV tickets are required. I also discovered that TGV has moved to Ryanair bag pricing. The upshot is that I might as well just fly with Ryanair and not complain about UK trains as much

Thanks PP. Interesting re the pricing via SNCF. An English friend of mine who now lives near my place in France makes the mistake of waiting for TGV tickets to be released before booking Eurostar, but by that time a lot of the Eurostar trains are very expensive. I've got into the habit of buying them 6 months ahead, when the bulk are £57ish direct from Eurostar, but next time I'll look at the SNCF option too to see what price they are offering. The SNCF website is, erm, 'quirky' at times (i.e. impenetrable what it's up to), so I've not tended to use it for more than SNCF tickets.

Re baggage pricing, I knew they did that on Ouigo trains (not that I ever have anything more than a rucksack), but hadn't realised they've started that on ordinary TGV trains too. Though, TBH, I'm not surprised, as some people really take the mickey with how much luggage they take, leading to slow loading of TGVs at stations, and dangerous amounts of baggage in carriages.

It might be an Ouigo train, but I don't really know. I was just trying to get a ticket and was surprised that it wasn't trivial, and that I was supposed to take the connection risk.
