Technically he never called for violence, except if you take out only one part of what he said put it in a tweet and keep on repeating that, like all the leftish and rightish war mongers did. it would be easy to show that wheren't it for the fact those tweets are unavailable as the account is blocked.

And as per the inquiry into this that didn;'t get to much attention, the national guard was on standby but standing back because of some leftish politicians claiming Trump would use the ''Martial law'' and the precedence of the National guard would be seen as a attempted coup by Trump.

So the capital storming was more a result of multiple things come together both from the populist left and the populist right then it was because of Trumps speech, it surely didn't help either but blaming it all on Trump is be-ing blind for the real issues at stake and will surely lead to a repeat in a slightly different setting in the future.

This is such a load of sh!te I don't even know where to start with it.

Trump has incited violence on more than one occasion, on multiple platforms.

What false information is it that Obama spread? I'd love to know.

For my sins the only social media I use is this and the original CC. This forum has enough weirdos without using other sites. Although, come to think of it there are more weirdos on the main CC. The ones here have barks worse than their bites.

I also prefer the pub and my chats/arguments with friends and some who are not friends, but acquaintances, but this internet lark is more interesting than most of what my wife likes to watch on the TV.

Absolutely. That's why Parliament never enacts any new laws. You either enforce something or you don't. You make all the decisions at the start, never amend existing laws or introduce new ones. That would be the work of a fantasist.

It was about twitters rules and how they adjust them for persons they don't like. There are many more use presidents in the past who either lied or take a very creative take with reality. (for example saying 98% of scientist agree there is climate change, followed by and that human caused it, while the actual fact is 98% believes there is climate change, the opinions on that human solely caused it or much more divided)

Must been an other planet where you live on, because i remember countless recounts a voting company that was playing along on twitters and that kind off stuff. Trump was saying he won by a landslide but didn't really have the numbers to prove it, that had not so much to do with the proud boys or the other ones qanon i believe. They where the ones coming up with stories about how votes where stolen, they probably mixed rothshild/illimuniati/ whatever other conspiracy they could find in the mix. and in all fairness it was very close in the end results.. with an additional research showing nearly 20% only voted Biden because it was not Trump.

Do you remember what he said during that rally before people stormed the capital or are you just responding to what media like the independent tells you he said?
Because there is an difference, and for the record i am no fan of Trump but i'm even less of a fan of false narrative and the whole capital story is riddled with it and if you want to look for someone to blame you need to look for someone's the blame because both republicans and democrats created the circumstances for that situation and how it got out of control in the way it did.
