Has anybody else noticed something really weird about the Trump indictment scenario?

He's got his kids, Don Jnr, Eric and Lara all hitting social media to claim its a set-up etc....

....but Ivanka and Jared Kushner have disappeared off the face of the earth.

Side note - I see she "broke her silence" a couple of days ago to say very little ("I am pained for my father and my country").
I ran that through the Translatabot 4000 and it came out with:

"Ohshitohshitohshitohshitohshitohshitohshitohshitohshitbuggerbollocks it'll be me and Jared next, quick BURN EVERYTHING!"

They started distancing themselves not long after the storming of The Capitol.

Thing is, they know Trump is apt at cajoling others to do the crime and the time.

This is one of many catching up with him.

The suggestion is that they are the two credible candidates for a future tilt at the presidency. So are keeping their noses clean. They know where the bodies are hidden. The other kids are idiots and disposable.

Melania is also very quiet about her husband’s hush money payment to a porn star.

By mass doubling down the right is in reality doubling up on them.
And Biden, in getting snared in the nase anti China strategy is now creating major world fractures .

My wife and I are of the opinion that - after the Jan 6th 'events' - Ivanka and Jared had a long talk with Jared's family
who are very wealthy themselves
and since them have been checking every i is dotted and every t is crossed in everything they do in public and making sure they stay as far away from any further 'trouble' as possible

whether or not Ivanka and/or Jared did this willingly or whether Mummy and Daddy (plus relatives and especially their lawyers) nailed their feet to the floor and explained the consequences in words of one syllable - is debatable

But I suspect she has more clue than her brothers (low bar!!) and Jared is no fool

I suspect their heating bills are quite low as they have been fueled by burning paper for quite a while
quietly and subtally with no fuss and lots of care and checking

I would also suspect they have some VERY secure files that other member of the trump clan really don;t want to get out

As I watched the news picture of trumps aircraft taking off it occurred to be that the best thing that could happen for the Repulican party would be if the plane crashed
Or trump died in some other manner - very soon and quickly so he could not name a favoured successor

They would be able to pile praise on "their great President" and keep his disciples on board
but pull back from all teh stupid stuff and actually start to act as a political party again rather than constantly having to keep an eye for what trump wants and wonder what he will do next

Obviously not suggesting it - but if there was a sudden announcement that he had suffered a heart attack overnight then I would start wondering

and his base would immediately blame Biden without any need for evidence and would be easy to rile up and a lot of the money going to trump at the moment would go to the republicans

anyway - just thinking

Nice thinking. If anything fishy happened to trump they’d be civil war.

I would like to state now that he’ll be let off the hook. The Judges in the states are super corrupt.
If he did get prosecuted then it’s open season for the rest of the criminal politicians.
