Russia's records are not made public to anyone. The stats are collated by obituaries and notifications of deaths through local media as well as drone footage - and frontline deaths are well documented. Every drone operator gets bonuses and each strike on individuals is filmed. So these figures are calculated by Ukrainians with assistance from insiders. The true figures might be higher. But yes, "...approx. X..." would suffice.

Sad but not deliberate unlike the 33 cruise missiles thrown at civilian targets in Kyiv on the night of the 2nd/3rd August.

The big news is that Ukraine is about to produce their own ballistic missiles*. They will be in use by the end of September. This gives Ukraine massive capability in the destruction of Russian assets.

*The Russian state propaganda TV is claiming that they are supplied by NATO in the 'continuing proxy war'. This, as Ukraine is constantly portrayed as weak and simply a vessel so that Russia's enemy can wage war against them.

The big news is that Ukraine is about to produce their own ballistic missiles*. They will be in use by the end of September. This gives Ukraine massive capability in the destruction of Russian assets.

Assuming that comes to pass, that would make the coming winter quite an interesting one.

For Russia, given the ease that Ukraine has managed to deploy drones in lieu of air defences, this will be catastrophic. Long range targets - oil refineries will not be geographically immune. I think that the combination of factors in Ukraine's favour is why Russia is throwing everything at Kyiv*. The missiles are bought from N Korea, Funny dat. However, it won't be long before the credit runs out.

47% of Wildberries capacity has now been taken out. Today will be day 39 of the 40 day campaign.
693 military vehicles taken out in July.
Over 200 vessels in the black sea and Sea of Azov sunk or damaged.
Over 170 substations taken out in occupied territories.
...and lets not forget, refineries being hit on a daily basis.
Omsk (the biggest) is back 'on-line' so we expect that to be a continuing target, Ukrainians are no longer targeting oil storage rather the distillation facility at refineries.

Yeah, I've taken the Kyiv stuff as desperation that they know they can't win against military targets so are just terrorising Kyiv to try to break the spirit.
