Can't say 100% but seems in keeping with their character. No handshakes after the final whistle, they just assaulted the Spanish players. Argentina (certainly in my lifetime) have been a classless team, ungracious in both victory and defeat. The worst part is that officials seem to price in that it is Argentina to their officiating and are excrutiatingly lenient with them, which just emboldens the petulance.

Actually just before this, Spain formed a "reception line" as ARG headed for the podium area, and (at least briefly) every player shook every hand. But clearly they still couldn't let it go ...

Oh aye, don't worry! It wasn't me playing and I doubt I have any Argentinian heritage, plus, it was all several thousand miles away from

Fair enough, which makes the back turning even more daft! Also, if you turn up to a game with the express intent not to actually play any football or attempt to score a goal and then lose you should really be expecting the loss. Reap what you sow and all that.
