You're happy with the 150,000 death toll (90-100,000 were avoidable according to Independent SAGE), an estimated 50,000 deaths caused by 10 years of austerity which, if you remember, was to pay down debt but actually increased our debt by 20%, billions of tax payers pounds going to very dodgy PPE contracts, may of which were never fulfilled, parties during lockdown, the constant lies, the gaslighting, the corruption and cronyism.

But, as long as that pisses people off and gives you an erection, that makes it all worthwhile.

Martin Thomas, newly appointed Chair of the Charity Commission has quietly gone his way. Bullying/inappropriate behaviour. There were 3 formal complaints made against him while he was Chair of Women for Women International* but he resigned before the Board could get him to resign.

Thomas was a university buddy of Johnson and gifted Johnson a watch while he was London mayor. GLP have asked whether he had disclosed his history of sending unsolicited photographs of himself to a female employee when he was interviewed for the role of Chair of the Charity Commission. Cronyism at its creepiest.

*the idea alone that he could have been chair of this women's charity gave me a long WTF moment.

I don't disagree on that, but, as a Civil Servant, he will still be "in post" (is that the correct term) even if another party were in Government.
