I heard him on TV this morning. He’s at the Corbyn level of naivety. Chuck a bit of tax on the billionaires and suddenly everything is paid for. Unfortunately the economic ‘polices’ of the Greens stop them being credible even if you care about the environmental side of things. One thing that was a bit odd for a Green was he said something along the lines of if you raise enough in tax immigration isn’t an issue as you just build enough houses for them. It seemed a bit off message for Greens to be advocating unprecedented levels of house building.

They seem to be Corbynistas with a green wrapper. I suppose if they do OK then a further splintering of the left wing vote might be helpful.

There's literally no way to tell. It is a hidden epidemic.

it’ll all work out in the end:

Is The Economist feeling OK? Is there something it wants to tell us?

It seems quite annoyed bellwether. I would have thought slow internet or a crappy charging network would have been better.

Or perhaps the absence of drone fast food deliveries. Which is scandalous.

I suspect that @Pross will be nodding in agreement, as well as cursing.

You can see their point, the fear of all those panels sliding down a hill and burying the local school is too high a price to pay for clean energy.

There have been several fires at solar farms (actually, at the battery storage bits I believe) but I'm not aware of them causing any injury or damage outside of the solar farm itself. I note it is West Oxfordshire, that's the planning authority that covers itself in glory on Clarkson's Farm I think.
