Again you mis-brand me. Thinking that Reform are racist cünts and the Conservatives are delusional morons, does not make one left wing. I have no love for Labour at all. They are better than the screaming void of talent that was in charge until the last election.
I have voted Lib Dem since 2016 because I couldn't bring myself to vote for a vapid nonentity like Dominic Raab, and nor was I impressed by the likes of Boris, May, Truss and Sunak. Ideally I'd like to try a Lib Dem Government but as they don't seem to be able to gain any ground, I'd currently have a punt on Green if I thought my vote counted - it doesn't. The only people winning in my area are going to be Reform or Lib Dem.
I have an EV obviously. A green car despite some of the environmental problems during manufacture (that also occur to ICE cars).

Voting Green in that situation makes no sense.
Voting Lib-Dem would appear to be a no brainer in your situation.

Luckily as yet my brain hasn't turned to mush, my eyes inform when the lights need turning on, and my muscles are not yet so feeble that I get tired doing so
I did think that I might get an automatic. Haven't decided on that yet, but after 60 years of driving I still remember when to change gear and it doesn't yet tire me out.
Most cars still do, even those that don't have big batteries and a motor.
I have been thinking of getting a VW T-Cross but am in no rush. For reasons given elsewhere I have no wish to go fully electric but might, or even a PHEV, when I get even older and do mainly local or short journeys.
