Clever?

This is a terrible article based on a terrible survey.
The assumption is that SUV is a defined thing. A specific size. A specific problem.

Most people, I would imagine, can tell the difference between a Range Rover or a Volvo XC90 and a Toyota Yaris Cross.
All three of those are SUVs.

The Yaris is 4m in length, 1.76m wide and 1.59m high
The Range Rover is 5.25m long, 1.99m wide and 1.87m high
The XC90 is 4.95m long, 1.92m wide and 1.77m high.

These three cars are not the same.

My car is an SUV - an ID4. 4.5m long, 1.8m wide and 1.64m high. Closer to the Yaris than the Range Rover - it's about as big as we would like to go.

Most people don't want a battleship sized car - and those are the ones that are dangerous for pedestrians.
