Here's the full story on the lentils thing.

It's sensible. If you offer kids pizza and chips as an option, they'll mainly just pick pizza and chips. Some of it is down to parents who don't feed their kids a wide variety of foods at home, which ends up with children turning their nose up at anything but fries and turkey twizzlers, but you just reinforce that at school if you serve them the same.

It's also fairly old news, unless it is now applying to secondary school. Many primary schools already run healthy menus.
In my area many are catered by these guys:

A typical week menu might look like:

I think the new thing is it's a bit stricter and there will be more checks and governors expected to ensure compliance. I do think there's been a big improvement in the last decade but perhaps it hadn't been seen across the board.

I feel like everyone who lashes out at Sydney Sweeney* is actually losing the game and helping to promote whatever betting company she is promoting. I also think her list of both sportsmen and sportswomen who have modelled naked is a decent counter punch.

*Because I had no idea, apparently she is an actor.

Just looked it up. Couldn't find the ad only the still photos. The controversy just promotes the company more as you say, but I do agree with the women athletes who say it's overtly sexualising women in sports. It really wasn't uncommon in the past but it felt like advertisers had moved away from that kind of thing of late. I wish celebrities wouldn't promote gambling too. The reality is, celebs will do stuff for the cash or the kudos like anybody else.

She's good in The Housemaid; twisty, psycho thriller film.

This is the advert... I'm more surprised that the company is American TBH given how squeamish the Americans are about nudity.

Of course the other reason for doing this sort of Ad is that even if it is banned it:
a) Runs for 8 weeks anyway before the ban comes through
b) The advert gets massive publicity - far more than would have been garnered from just running a normal advert
c) Even if there is a fine it tends to be small and worth it to the commissioning company

Outrageous ads are a win win.

As Eric Idle once said of Life of Brian. "Banning it was the best thing that could have happened.".

She's got previous for controversial adverts, and appearing basically naked (in sheer dresses) at red carpet events.

The US brought us American football played in lingerie and the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition so sexualising sport isn't exactly new, this is just the latest version of it (although in this case it's gambling really).

Obviously she is taking the money and the equity to promote a betting company which, for many, is morally questionable; however, I have betting accounts, so I won't judge too much.

I find the backlash (or viral success) interesting. After all, she is not a sportswoman and she is not promoting sports. Instead, she is doing a seedy betting advert. She makes the point that a number of top male and female athletes have stripped off for the camera and presumably money, and no doubt when they did, that was all about body positivity and nothing to do with overtly sexualising people in sport.

Sexy though innit.
Is it? I found it off putting.
And you watched it.
Only the first few seconds. I think youtube charges the advertiser per view, and I am not going to buy the product or recommend it, so I've cost them a few cents for no return.
you wouldn't even have seen it if she had her clothes on....
Mission Accomplished...
That's true, but not sure that will help the company long term.
