Newsnight seems to think there’s a good chance the Tory’s have lost both seats.
We will know by the morning.

“Some body must take responsibility” says Oliver Dowden as he resigns from his position as Party Chairman.

But who is he referring to? It’s very difficult to see why the party chairman is at fault for this.

I see the Twitter feed referenced by @theclaud has been updated from "soon to be MP" to "MP (in 2024)".
There is something satisfying about seeing a smug bubble burst.

Welcome yourself into the new modern crisis
I see the winning Lib Dem has acknowledged the effect of tactical voting. Predictably though, the 'bUt We WeRe SeCoNd LaSt Time' Labour supporters are out, despite the result.

Interesting that Labour won Wakefield on a lower turnout than Lib Dems won T&H. Interpret that as you will, according to your own biases I guess.

Edit: Here you go. Could be Tories staying at home rather than opposition showing out.

Allways good to see Tories lose seats....even better resignations !
Who's next 😁
"Oliver Dowden was due to appear but pulled out after resigning and now Dominic Raab has pulled out too. Unclear if anyone else will be willing to make an appearance."

It might be noted that Foord's total vote was less than Parish's majority last time. But at least the immediate task is accomplished.
