They are the only trusted port of contact for citizens around the world.

I seem to listen to near one investigation per week. There are not many other fairly safe ports of contact.
Choose ''pick if the world' or 'charity' or 'scam' from BBC Sounds.

They vast majority of real investigative journalism these days comes from the BBC World Service.
Plus, it beats the normal BBC for balance too, being more able to simply stick to facts.
You do realise that the BBC World Service and BBC news are the same team? They merged about a year ago.

You do realise that the BBC is continually battling for survival against right wing accusations of 'wokeism'? They get forced to skirt around the truth.

The too nauseating to listen to, Brexit Cast is/was a prime example.

A conspiracy theorist or simply another like the Torygraph lot who work for big oil and earnestly appeal to the nimbies?

Leasing the seabed from Chas?
I guess this government isn't socialist then?
I think you are misunderstanding what the Crown Estate is. The Crown Estate belongs to Brian in name only he has no control over it, does not manage it etc. The land does not belong to the British Government but to the monarch. However, all profits from the Crown Estate go directly to the treasury. So whilst the Government is leasing land from the Crown Estate, the cost of that lease just goes straight back into Government coffers.

Is it not 88% to treasury, and 12% to Royal Family and refurbishing Buckingham Palace ?
