Seeing Musk's four year old son in the Oval Office reminded me of the young Damian in one of The Omen movies.

JD Vance told European leaders, if you want our support, allow free speech, no matter which side it comes from.

Oh and listen to your people 👍

I'm glad I don't live in this fictitious Europe/UK that seems to be circling in the header of Trump/Musk/Twitter. It's like some cheap Sci-Fi story where in a parallel Universe an identical but evil mirror of our own world exists.

Just look at Vance's basis for his lecture eg Vance claimed that in Scotland people living within an abortion clinic safe access zone praying in private in their own homes would be breaking the law! Reality: This is an untruth perpetrated by a Conservative Christian Tick-Tock'er. Private prayer at home is not prohibited within safe access zones and no letter has ever suggested it was.

eg the example Vance quoted from the UK of a protester arrested and convicted for breaking the anti-protect safe zone around a Bournemouth abortion clinic. Reality is he was warned, Police spent 1hr 40 mins trying to get him to leave and he refused so he was arrested and convicted because he was breaking the law n.b. the convicted protester was being supported by the Alliance Defending Freedom International (an American conservative Christian legal advocacy group).

Still, at least our European & UK leaders understand the difference between "Purchase taxes" and "Import Duties" ie the individual setting US tax policy, trade policy, etc. doesn't seem to understand the difference!

Talking about the Romanian Election, Vance told the conference: "If your democracy can be destroyed with a few $100,000 of digital advertising from a foreign country, then it wasn't very strong to begin with."

I agree Vance. How dare it be so cheap! That sort of thing must cost millions in the US...

An example of your partially quoted Vance post, would have been if Europe had actually suppressed his speech. Since they haven't and Vance's speech has clearly been printed in several news sources, all over Europe, your reposted shìtpost has instantly been proven to be fake news.

Plus, freedom of speech is not freedom to say anything to anybody at any time. Lies and untruths designed to incite violence are not acceptable. Vance was at a security conference so much of what he was saying was irrelevant (eg lies from Tick-Tock spreading untruth about laws in Scotland). At what point are we allowed to say that foreign interference in national elections is "unacceptable" US has laws preventing foreign interference in their elections (law of 2019). etc.
