Your point about the ThunderCrit is that it's a fun comp, and the rules were declared beforehand. I get that, and I've agreed such private event organisers are free to set their own rules. You still don't acknowledge that it's now an event where women now have less chance of a podium place. If it's all just a bit of all inclusive fun, you wonder why they bother with results lists and prizes at all.

To encourage him, I seem to remember.

Selective memory, and/or, taken slightly out of context. To encourage @shep 's continued contribution(s), thus increasing diversity (that would not be difficult on here) and reducing the echo chamber effect, is nearer to the reason I gave.

It so happens I also like he does actually comment (regardless of if I agree with his comments or not), not simply post links to twitter.

This obsession with my likes and smileys is becoming a trifle near to stalking, and, rather sinister.

They were. They moved to Wales.

I'd move if I was from Dudley.

That's where you're lack of awareness shows Dudley, Brummie and someone from Wolverhampton used to describe the same thing.

Must try harder.

From this distance you all sound the same. Just as you probably think all Devon folk sound the same.

You are right. My knowledge of the WM is sadly lacking. I only know that area from looking out of the window when travelling on the M5 to or back from somewhere interesting.
