No Conversion, just a facility to circumvent immigration law.
So you can prove which people are really converting and who is exploiting a loop hole. Please share your method as no one else can prove which is which, unless you know that ever single Christian is lying.

Surely they are just integrating into traditional British Christian values?
I would expect this to be a welcome development.

Utter bollocks.
Again in the Telegraph, Suella Braverman said:

“Attend mass once a week for a few months, befriend the vicar, get your baptism date in the diary and, bingo, you’ll be signed off by a member of clergy that you’re now a God-fearing Christian who will face certain persecution if removed to your Islamic country of origin. It has to stop”.

Braverman’s statement contradicts the guidelines issued by her own former department and is a display of gross ignorance.

Immigration officials are specifically trained on religious beliefs and conversions and the Home Office guidance is very clear. An application may be refused if there is any suspicion of deception and (section 9.7.2.) states it “must be refused where the decision maker can prove that it is more likely than not the applicant used deception in the application”. Recent religious conversions are automatically viewed as suspect and it is for the convert to prove otherwise (if they wish it to have some bearing on their claim).

The church allegedly involved in baptising the corrosive substance throwing individual is about 2 miles from where I live. It is not a Church of England Church, nor is it a Roman Catholic Church.

Is the GBeebies thread now just a thread where we discuss any/all stories they have reported on?
Just so I'm clear, going forward, thx ...

GB News host Neil Oliver has been cleared by Ofcom after making false claims about 'turbo cancer' (Image: GB News)

NEIL Oliver has been backed by broadcasting watchdog Ofcom after he falsely claimed that healthy people were dying of a “turbo cancer” and implied it was linked to the Covid vaccine.

Speaking on his show on GB News, Oliver also wrongly asserted that Pfizer chief executive Albert Bourla had repeatedly said one-third of everyone on earth would get “turbo cancer” in the near future.
However, Ofcom refused to investigate some 70 complaints about the segment, stating that Oliver’s comments had been his “personal view” and the audience was not misled.

Allison Pearson has produced some class idiocy in her time.

This week she exploited the suffering of a poor woman and child to produce this blatant racism that will have all the gammon racists (here's looking at you Andy CXR) nodding away in agreement, with their flabby pink wattles bobbing away.

Because, of course, violence against women only occurs in the non-white Muslim community, as we all know.

It would appear that UK has the dubious honour of being world beating in this area (ie corrosive substance attacks), according to google. Not sure if the figures are absolute numbers, or, per head of population, plus, so far, cannot find any figures giving breakdown of colour/ethnicity of the attackers.

The ones that make the news tend to be human interest stories, ie rejected individuals harming ex partners. Most London acid attacks look to be related to a way to comit crime, so overall it does seem to be mostly male on male crime. It would be useful if the stats were broken down further.
