Interesting question. Why were there 'gentlemen's' clubs that didn't admit women? Or golf clubs?

No the trouble for those trying to upkeep the argument men and women are physically comparable or transwoman don't have an advantage would be surely mistaken, if we now make all sports unisex the most likely outcome is that all winners are men, than transwomen, then women. with some expections here and there because that's elite sports. especially in sports sports governing bodies have to find a better way to deal with these things because the amount of transwomen we now see dominating womens sports or at least ending up higher than they should be, is not a healthy balance.
Sports governing body's have the job to ensure everyone has a fair chance to compete, if a certain group has a significant advantage they have to step in maybe make an trans athlete's group? what's wrong with that?

They do better in the Womens category than they did when they competed in the Mens. That's dominating.
The Sydney Women's football team the Flying Bats has 5 men playing for them. They won the 2024 championship without losing a match, conceding only 4 goals all season.
These men win races and comps, and achieve placings and medals, they could never achieve in the male category. That's dominating.

US cycling is a sport where men in the Women's category certainly dominate disproportionately. Last weekend Chloe Spritz once again took a podium place and another trans identifying man, Jenna Lingwood, was 8th. That's 2 men in one race alone, and this isn't an uncommon result in certain US cycling comps.

I don't think it is. 6ft 2" is not a particularly unusual height for an adult male football player.

Of course, the objection is these 5 players being male not their height per se. Competing against a taller woman is very different from competing against a taller man.
