Another resounding victory for the "silent majority", directly affecting less than 100 children who will continue their treatment in any case.

I happen to think it's quite a good thing to be honest, as I agree that it's a pretty radical step to take when emotions and thoughts can be at their most confusing during that stage of development.

That said, I do wonder what the effect will be on those who are on the road to being prescribed them as a treatment and will be told it's no longer an option. That's going to cause an unnecessary amount of distress and worry, so I'd hope that there are reasonable alternatives in place to help support with that.

There weren't thousands of kids on puberty blockers, there were 84. The waiting list was years. Puberty blockers were reversible and bought the patient some time.

The ideology is in the anti-trans mob.

* I know a few refugee families. The brown ones tend to be families of 4 upwards in one room bedsits. The white ones (ie Ukrainians) get hosted in UK families. Try and tell me that isn't racism at work.

They would have been if the Tavistock hadn't been stopped. There are reported several thousand kids on waiting list.

Alone the risk of sterility is lower, but once mixed with testosterone or oestrogens, infertility is a known complications as is osteoporosis and fractures.

Why would anyone expose a child or young adult to these risks

Thank goodness the NHS has taken its own medical advice
