Go look on X

The Irish are posting about it. According to posters this is the worst defeat/s the Irish government has ever had
The highest official turnout was in Donegal, 80.9%.
A bit short of the 96% turnout you're claiming.

I'm only reading what the Irish are posting. 80% is still a resounding thumping of the government policies

Here's somebody who doesn't understand algorithms

No wonder he's convinced there's a silent majority.

If you don't take part don't complain when you don't get the results you were expecting. Silent majority thumped the government

Another establishment Yes job blew up in their face

That's just noise in your head.

Here are the proposed changes in their entirety:

"The State recognises the Family, whether founded on marriage or on other durable relationships, as the natural primary and fundamental unit group of Society, and as a moral institution possessing inalienable and imprescriptible rights, antecedent and superior to all positive law."
"The State pledges itself to guard with special care the institution of Marriage and to protect it against attack."

"The State recognises that the provision of care, by members of a family to one another by reason of the bonds that exist among them, gives to Society a support without which the common good cannot be achieved, and shall strive to support such provision."

You are shouting at the moon, Andy.

There is no point posting the wording, its was resoundingly rejected by the Irish

Well there is, because you were attempting to claim it was something to do with trans-inclusiveness and were prattling on about "birthing units".

I see you've edited your post and removed the bit about "truth". Presumably you had a light bulb moment and realised that truth isn't a factor. It's about legal definitions of a word.

Quite why you'd want to exclude single-parent families, and unmarried families from legal protections is beyond me.

The two votes will exclude families where the mother has died, leaving the father looking after the kids*. He will not get the same help as a women left in the same position. Because the women's place is in the home.

*High Court case decision put on hold, pending the outcome of these two referendums.
