Well in Ireland women do joke that they've swapped being subjugated by one set of men in dresses for being subjugated by a new set.
Meanwhile over in Canada, which has dived headlong into the whole trans thing, CBC/Radio Canada has had it's windows put through for being one of the few outlets there with the courage to cover the Wpath document leaks on gender medicine for minors.

The group who broke the windows are going down the 'right to bodily autonomy' route, with a bit of suicide narrative chucked in. This will be the direction now that the science is showing little benefit from puberty blockers and unknown risks. They will turn it into a human right to have drugs and surgery argument, as they have with sport, because the claimed scientific evidence has been debunked.

No, they don't. Because they are biological women.
The logic here is that if transwomen have the same pattern of offending as men then transmen will have the same pattern of offending as women.
The suggestion is that hormone treatment and possible surgery isn't sufficient to change offending behaviour.
Of course, what keeps being overlooked here (as I have pointed out before) is that if any man can identify as a woman then it is *just possible* that some people who *Say* that they are transwomen are not in fact transwomen but are just perverted predators using it to gain access to women, or to be treated differently. There does seem to be a remarkable pattern of men who decide they are women after being convicted of serious crimes, or during the trial process.
On the one hand people are told that the problem is that TERFS ignore people who have lived experience of being trans, or knowing / working with trans people, going through the transition process etc cos prejudice, phobia etc, but on the other hand it's fine to ignore/"cancel" people like JK Rowling who have been through the "escaping domestic violence via a refuge" process. Their lived experience of not wanting or having concerns about transwomen having access to women's refuges doesn't count for some reason.
The absurdity of it all tends to be brough out in things like the grovelling reviews of Hogwarts Legacy, where games sites either didn't review the game, or posted long paragraphs about how the game was dissociated from it's creator because of her views which were clearly abhorrent and which she shouldn't be allowed to have. Despite all the gnashing and wailing of teeth, Hogwarts Legacy was the best selling game of 2023 and is in the top 50 best selling games of all time. So clearly most people couldn't give a flying monkeys about JK Rowling commenting on issues that she feels strongly about despite their being a small cadre of individuals willing to harass the studio, Rowling and gamers streaming on twitch.
The issue isn't and has never been that all transwomen are paedos. The issue is that not all transwomen are equal, and it seems likely that without any safeguards, there are some men willing to take advantage.

Anyway, Hogwarts Legacy uses intellectual property owned by JKR, but she had absolutely no part in its programming, development, distribution, the studio who created it or the story thereof...
Realistically, most people realised this but that doesn't stop extremists using this largely wilted leek of a story to prop up whatever narrative they choose to attach it to.

It does but at the moment any man in a women's single sex space stands out and women can ask for them to leave or be removed. If single sex exemptions are removed this won't be the case. It will turn every women's space into a mixed sex space and we know that increases the risk to women and girls.
It's not just about safety either, as you know very well.
If you cared about women you would advocate for third unisex spaces. You don't though, you just advocate for men to be allowed into women's spaces.
