You're aware that there are other options than this one place, right?

The average wait for top surgery in England is ~2 years if having it done via the NHS.

If you go private it's a lot quicker but will set you back around £18k so it's prohibitively expensive for most people.

I prefer to maintain a free and open mind.
Conceit, delusion, or just plain dishonesty?

The one in Leeds is still showing as open. Opens at 9:30 this morning in fact.

It's a satellite branch of the Tavistock that opened in 2012. I do wonder why you don't just Google this stuff yourself. Presumably it will remain a satellite branch of the London service that replaces the Tavistock or become an outpost of the new Alder Hey/Manchester clinic.

As to toilets, well they're really the least of the issues and can easily be resolved in most circumstances. We all know why making toilets unisex spaces are bad for women though. Again, you could google it if you're not sure why.

£18k. Should be £50k minimum

Just like smoking price it out of the reach, very very bad for the user

Stellar logic there, you don't like it so make it unattainable.

Cars are really dangerous and cause irreversible damage, let's make them totally unaffordable too shall we?

The smoking thing is always a fun one to bring up though. About 85% of the price of a packet of tabs goes straight to the Treasury as tax. It's less for rolling baccy, thankfully.

It's genuinely impossible to work out the real cost of smoking/smokers for the NHS because there are so many other factors which come into it.

Ah but make a point in reply to an anti-trans activist with their specific ideology, and in reply all you get is ''but look at Karen White'', but look at Isla Bryson, ''but look at poor poor Keira Bell'', ''but look at Fallon Fox''.
All examples of an ideology leading instead of sensible decisions,
When the truth is put in front of them in each of these cases, the truth is rejected in favour of the propaganda in turn.
The point is when we question you about ''the truth'' and any random other poster you get an whole different defenition. Whilst there are indeed clear propaganda lies, it's important to state and realize every side and angle does that, i known its easier to pick out one random poster, but it's better to just work on good policies. and or advocating for those.

This is why the likes of CXRAndy repeat propaganda ad nauseum, because they wish to capture people to their side because they are consumed with hate. The more successful they are, the more they celebrate their success. And yes they are successful, and that is why more people need to start using critical thinking skills. The country operates on the basis of making sure that people don't have enough time on their hands to know what is really going on.
And you are any better? I mean you where celebrating an ''research'' that showed less than 1% of trans people regretted their decision and celebrated it with something like ''this closes the regret discussion'' that other posters quickly afterwards point out that it was an poor research that come down to ''butcher how do you rate your own meat'' and in my view actually does and dis-service to any trans person.
Because accurate regret rates are a important number, just as open and fair information about side effect what you can and cannot expect etc. etc.
Just as despite having nothing against trans people i can understand some of the arguments being made against children ''transitioning'' and changing pronounce without their parent knowledge, athletes not wanting to compete or having opposition against males who have transitioned, and the use off women only spaces only by women. interesting thing is that in a dutch university they now have three toilets one for women one for men and one for whatever, after muslim women complained about potential trans persons seeing them in a way that their religion doesn't like. Transwomen are women expect if apparently.

Very few people know how London works as a financial centre, or how the media operates. If they did, there would be a rebellion. It's important to keep people's lives filled with other things to distract them from the truth. The most 'developed nations' are the ones with the biggest wealth gaps. This is how the UK maintains itself as a serf country.
So the one blaming others to post propaganda, now come with an conspiracy ''normal people are way to stupid to understand'' it is indeed true that there is an big wealth gap, the most easiest way to change that is to make more social housing available instead of poorly build flats for way to much money. Sadly i don;t see that happening any time soon, but it has nothing to do with this topic. Are you running low on questionable research to post?
We used to have sock puppet governments in thrall to billionaires, but we are returning with Sunak to pre Bill of Rights days, with the wealthy having absolute control, and the people having few rights. We have an unelected billionaire son of immigrants hell-bent with a Rwanda plan not supported by public opinion, who spends his time in parliament taunting Starmer with 'he doesn't even know what a woman is' in answer to questions at PMQT.
The wealthty trying or having control is nothing new, not now Sunak is at the Helm not when Boris was, Hell you known Blair is a multi milionaire too? I don't know if the Rwanda plan isn't back by public opinion it mostly seems a silly idea inherrented from the fact that they promised immigration control after Brexit whilst this wasn't a brexit benefit they could really ackomplish using our current laws and such. It seems to me the whole Rwanda plan will never take-off for the same reason, but just like many announced policies of the past months they all seem to have their final decision after the general election.
The anti-immigrant narrative, and the anti-trans narratives are just the means of control. Only fools believe it is anything but. Meanwhile the very healthy are delighted that that is all that appears in the Daily Express or on GB news every day. They are taking the country for fools - and collectively what fools we have proved to be.
That is a bit too easy to be honest, and calling anyone who does not believe that statement to be true ''fools'' is disingenuous really. Surely there are wealthy people who enjoy everything that is happening against trans persons or immigration but that doesn't mean it's all one big conspiracy, that more something for certain facebook groups who also claim covid is an big hoax and such.,

Businesses, organisations will be reported to authorities if they don't provide single sex provision, toilets, changing rooms etc

Bad guidance will also be reported to government, so they can take action against those who wrongly interpret single sex provision of those who self ID.

This is Badenoch using state resources to push her own ambitions forward.

Is exactly right.

I suspect most of the public (bar a few Mail reading Gammons who like having their hate glands massaged) don't want government to be spending time on the utter irrelevance. Most of them have never even seen a trans person, let alone been offended or scared by their presence, let alone been assaulted by one.

Nothing to do with seeing a trans. It's to do with single sex provision for the majority who want it.

I'll start John Lewis unisex toilets and changing rooms

Rejected. They are not providing unisex toilets out of some belief that it would be illegal not to, but purely because it makes the toilets easier to clean and allows the maximum number of customers to use them.

How does the provider of, say, toilets, know whether the woman using them is even trans, never mind the complications with GRC which was never intended as some form of ID.

This request is not about whether an individual is accessing facilities or services aimed at others, whether it's age, sex, or disability. It's about whether organisations are informing their staff or service users that their female facilities or services must include those who identify as the other sex, and where they are taking that advice from. Stonewall and others have been telling service providers that this is the law for years. It isn't, even with a GRC.

Stonewall have sown confusion on this issue for years and it's time it was clarified further so service providers know that single sex services and facilities are perfect legal.
