Regulator says one thing, court says another ...
Not really. The Regulator said that you cannot suppress free speech and discussion when teaching the curriculum to year 7 pupils. The Courts said you cannot suppress free speech and discussion at University.

Both said the same thing.

Unfortunately you are missing two obvious points in law here. I'll copy two paragraphs from the regulator and then I feel sure you'll spot them.

The OfS report marks the end of an inquiry that began more than three years ago. It was spawned by the case of Kathleen Stock, a philosophy professor who said she was forced out of the university in 2021 by a three-year campaign of bullying and character assassination.

The decision by the university regulator to punish Sussex comes after the previous Conservative government passed the Higher Education (Freedom of Speech) Act 2023 to toughen laws around freedom of expression.

I foresee a legal challenge.

You get slaughtered at pool if you're not good enough.

Gender has f*ck all to do with it.

Yes it does, more powerful cue strike from break-off, greater reach.

Yes it's a skill based game, but there is a power element, which can greatly improve win percentage

I'd put money on neither of you being able to name a single other female pool player before this final came to light. Must be pretty galling that trans players have made you give a sh!t about pool or pretend to know anything about how it's played.

I vaguely remember a "discussion" about snooker on here a while ago. Same story there though, there's no gender based advantage.
