The other problem is that in any mass-participation sport there wouldn't be enough trans people for a competition. Take cycling road-races - you need at the very least 15 starters. Team sports similarly.

Yeah happens in many sports, soluttions might differ from sport to sport, but one soluttion could be that they train mixed for example.
And if those ''researchers'' who claim 1 in x is children is trans are right is a temporarily problem anyway.
