As one judge said, it didn't remove any rights but it did mean facing the cold reality that you never had the rights that the likes of Stonewall told everyone you had. You told everyone on here the same. Now you're having to give back what was never yours in the first place. You're back to having the same rights as others of your sex.

Certainly a blow for those living in the UK. However, Kelly lost to Leonardo, Peggie lost to Upton, Cunningham quit. Bailey lost to Stonewall. GLP v EHRC judgment due soon. We'll have to wait and see.

Cunningham stepped down to concentrate on bringing more similar cases. Sounds like her business is booming. Both Peggie and Bailey won on their main count. All the employment cases are secondary to the supreme court decision. Of course we'll have to see where things are in say 5 years time but for now it's clear that the tide has turned quite a bit.
