What the ICJ ruling says is that the case that Israel is committing genocide is plausible. This is the beginning, nit the end.

It once again only proves that you can't read, it does not say that at all nowhere in the 87 pages long report. What is says it that they need an full investigation, and demands for an immediate ceasefire (which was demanded by South-africa) are refused.

Oh and that investigation swings both ways, as a result the UNWRA (you known the UN you defended @AndyRM ) has fired 12 of its employees accused of participating in the 7 October attacks.

We are living in a weird time of fantasy politics and fantasy social narrative. Fantasy politics with the Tory right insisting that things are better when very palpably they are worse. The rump of the Brexit cult still insisting that the benefits will come, at some undefined point in time.

Fantasy social narrative with clearly untrue propositions, such as Andy CXR's claim that the BBC is 'hard-left'. Its a sort of Trumpian insistence that if you keep saying something untrue it somehow becomes truer. And sure enough, if you keep saying it loud enough you will pick up some idiots along the way.

The UK is a milder microcosm of the US, at a different point in its political cycle, but the same tactics are being applied, and thankfully, failing.

the UN yes, The UNRWA not so much, possible participating in a terror attack is one very serious thing however Gazan's accuse them just a little bit longer in working with Hamas stockpiling aid etc. etc. let alone all the rumors of misbehavior put it mildly a few years prior. And if not one but many UNRWA funded schools and other buildings are being used as ammo storage launch sites etc. it becomes a pattern and that is an issue.
