WARNING - Cycling COntent!!!

Former Israel-Premier Tech cyclist Jakob Fuglsang has said he feels a sense of relief at no longer wearing the team’s jersey, stating it’s “nicer to ride around without an Israel logo than with it”.
...
he spoke to Danish outlet Feltet and said: “It's of course nicer to be without. I don't want to get involved in what's happening politically, but it's definitely nicer to ride around without an Israel logo than with it.”

I haven't seen this reported in the UK media, which seems strange.

https://www.politico.eu/article/dutch-foreign-minister-caspar-veldkamp-resigns-over-israel-policy/

The Dutch foreign minister resigned because the Dutch cabinet would not agree on increasing sanctions on Israel.

This doesn't answer my question. Or indeed the one you first responded to! Still, I did try to have a discussion ...

Being realistic, israel as it is can not survive without support from the US, the moment that support disappears israel's existence is doomed. China and India have no historic guilt to assuage, that's a purely European problem, so there's no reason for them to take sides with what is a European colonial project. The same applies to most other Asian and African countries.

Israel's existence was always going to be doomed, because its formation followed the model of the European colonisation of the Americas. That model was unsuited to the location and out of date.

So, as to your question. There is no solution. After much suffering which could have been avoided, Israel will dissappear.

After the UN formally declared famine in Gaza last week, surprised how silent our politicians have been, at least I've seen nothing from the UK press & news reports. Surprised Starmer hasn't been doing his normal "Israel has the right to defend herself" (which might keep the Party/campaign donations coming in but seems to me as the IDF are now saying further killing is achieving nothing "defending" finished some time ago).

This is just nuts. Is any utterance with the words 'Palestine' and 'action' illegal now, no matter how many words there are in between? Perhaps the next step is just to make the word 'Palestine' illegal.

What would be far more desirable, is the banning of marches all over the country for these terrorist supporting antifa liberal lefties

Sobering.

Best to note the funding to the Conservatives, too (same website):

https://www.declassifieduk.org/israel-lobby-funded-a-third-of-conservative-mps/
Israel lobby funded a third of Conservative MPs
Exclusive: Tory politicians have accepted over £430,000 from Israel lobby groups and made 187 trips to the country.

The main funder is Conservative Friends of Israel, a parliamentary group which does not disclose its own sources of funding.

Conservative Friends of Israel (CFI) is a pro-Israel lobby group set up in 1974 by Michael Fidler, a Tory politician described in one biography as having political views “reminiscent of the philosophy of Enoch Powell”.

Around 80 percent of Tory MPs are members of CFI. Over the past decade, it has taken more MPs on overseas trips than any other political donor in Britain.

From all available evidence, yes.

We’re getting there too.

Statement from club:
- he was in a VIP section with "Smart Casual" dress code (so footy shirts not allowed); and
- they have to follow the Premier League guidance:
"The Premier League is clear on guidance to all its clubs in that flags, banners or other materials (including replica shirts and t-shirts) that display potential inflammatory content, which could include flags of countries in conflict, or content considered discriminatory, offensive or politically motivated, should not be permitted."

So this doesn't seem clear-cut, to me.
