Part of the peace deal was Hamas to disarm and that they would have no part in any future government. (at least that is what multiple media reported)

You’ve literally just made up a scenario. How about waiting to see what actually happens?
Hamas killing their opponents whilst the deal was they disarm is nothing made up about. The part that Israel gets blamed is has indeed not happened.. yet. (but has happended over the past 10/15 years)
Who ended the previous ceasefire agreement?
October 7 anyone? Alltough again if you count 2008 as the start Hamas never fully respected the peace deal. With Israel blasted every time they responded a bit harder then just shooting down the rockets that have been fired into Israel. (yes that happened so frequent that it wasn't even reported anymore)
I didn't think anybody here was claiming Hamas were angels. My current (subject to change) view is that this ceasefire deal suffers lack of detail and was rushed through with inadequate thought & safeguards and ignoring input from other useful sources. One hopes it will hold but these things are complex and this hasn't been properly considered by or had input from those who could have foreseen many of the pitfalls.
I would say an lack of force, if the alternative Israel going into every part of Gaza to rout out Hamas and Blowing up the cozy hideaway in Qatar lead them to agree with terms that said ''you shall disarm and have no role in future Gaza politics or official positions'' That defacto surrender should have been enforced from the moment they agreed to that they should have been enforced to act upon it. (and that force doesn't have to be Israel a other country would be much better, i just don't think many country are keen to send their troops into that hellhole.)
Now that are allowed to mobilize kill everyone who opposed them in Gaza and restore their rule.
Meaning that if they now say ''nah, the part about disarming we where only kidding'' it will be much harder to enforce them keeping part their part of the deal.
To be honest if there are enough safeguards i don't really know,(there are many reports about whats in their but not that much confirmation) a other thing here is transparency we still don't know what is exactly in those papers, i get the feeling it will be hostages released Israel building an bigger fortress on the Gaza and Gaza returning to the mess it was.
