That's worthy of Colemanballs.
"Chelsea end losing run with draw away at Liverpool"

An adult has read it and asked for a subtle change.

Some losing run! They beat Leeds 1-0 two games ago.

It was an entirely contrived "losing run" anyway.

"The only English side to lose seven league games in a row ahead of an FA Cup final"...

Said nobody before ever.

They used to be up there with the best in terms of sports journalism, but are clearly now driven by someone who thinks that the most click-baity articles are a great idea. The number of articles which are clearly just AI nonsense is pathetic too.

Shame really. At least TMS is still good.

I think it's work experience week at BBC Sport.

For all their recent faults they still do some decent journalism

Whenever this sort of "reporter uncovers ... arrested" I ask myself how reporters can find these people or evidence the Police were unable to find. Raises questions in my mind about the capabilities of policing.

I was about to post similar as it is the first thing that crosses my mind when I read these types of stories.
And there have been quite a few in the past couple of months.

Isn't it a case that the Iraqi Kurdish authorities are only prepare to get involved when there is a bad press?

Yep, I also wonder whether the journalists are risking compromising an ongoing police investigation when they get involved e.g. they exposed some 'street soldiers' taking payment for people coming in on small boats this week that police may have been watching to get higher up the chain.

That's a fair point. There also appears to be very few breaking stories about surprise police investigations though.
It's taken Grenfell 10 years and the evidence is staring them in the face.

Not BBC but when it comes to disrupting prosecutions:
Yvette Cooper wrote Palestine Action article despite CPS warning it could affect trial
Yvette Cooper wrote a newspaper column about Palestine Action despite prosecutors warning it could prejudice criminal proceedings against six activists from the group, it can be revealed.

The then-home secretary wrote the column justifying Palestine Action’s proscription even though the Crown Prosecution Service advised it might unfairly impact a trial concerning a 2024 break-in at an Israeli arms manufacturer’s factory.

As any seasoned watcher of TV Detective Stories knows, every crime is solved by a single detective, and his/her partner, in between resolving the personal conflicts of one or both of them, and, sometimes aided and abetted by a resourceful journalist. The vast bulk of the Police Force are surplus to requirements, and, all Senior Officers are a waste of their expensive Pension Contributions. 😂
