Liz Truss - the first 100 days....

Can we take a moment to appreciate the genius of Labour tabling this opposition debate?

I think it worked out better than anyone in Labour would have dared to hope, but even so it was a clever use of their opposition day time to throw a divisive topic into the Tory party just as they were trying to pretend normality had resumed.

Kier Starmer and the Labour party tonight...

How has the country survived the last few years?

Just barely I think. All reserves of money, trust and goodwill destroyed.

Forty Tory MPs abstained in Labour's fracking motion earlier, meaning they did not vote yes or no on it.

Among the MPs who abstained are Chief Whip Wendy Morton. Tory MPs have told the BBC she is no longer in post - though her position is still unclear.

PM Liz Truss is also listed as having not voted. We don't know why she wasn't present.

Other notable MPs who didn't vote are former PM Theresa May, former Chancellor Kwasi Kwarteng and former Home Secretary Priti Patel. Boris Johnson is on holiday in the Caribbean.

Deputy Chief Whip, Craig Whittaker, also has an unclear position, be it in, out or simply shaken all about. No.10 is apparently not taking calls.

To make it simpler for people like me could you please list who hasn't resigned.

Thank you.

Hasn't resigned yet?

I don't know where this tweet should go. But it is quite brilliant.

But it feels like an accurate representation of the Truss government.

And a pretty accurate representation of my football skills without VR.

Given this new policy of ministers being in office for less time that I keep a pair of undies on

then there does arise a question of just how much we - as in us - are paying all the ex-ministers for severance pay

for their 1 -2 days in office

apparently some member of the opposition are starting to ask questions - as well as some of the more lefty tofu eating AGC media people

anyway - if I don;t post for a while it will be because I have taken the job as Chief Whip

I have all the right qualification
Public school (not not that one)
err - breathing
err - can deal with uncooperative unpredictable immature people (i.e. ex teacher)

OK - I would vote Labour is given a chance and may even be left of Starmer

but who else will do it

I reckon I could last a week or so
then wander of with a pay off

would the pay off get a new ebike???
