The ones who thought it might be, are very busy either pointing over there going
"Oh look a distraction"

Or else they're are trying to spin this self made mess as somehow being 'the EUs fault..'
What, all of them?

I do neither of these things because I don't have to, why do you think everyone else does?

No-one I know really talks about Brexit any more so why do you come out with these generalisations, because people on Twitter say so?

I've been away the last 3 weekends with 3 different sets of people and not once has Brexit been mentioned and I know for a fact most of them voted for it, that's probably 30 different people talking, drinking and generally enjoying themselves and not once did anyone point anywhere and shout "oh look a distraction".

You may have tails of people you know doing what you suggest but rest assured there are plenty of us out there who genuinely think nothing about it.

Exactly.
"Oh look a distraction"

Weekends away drinking, are very nice aren't they..

All your mates can pretend that the brexit
(that they voted for) is going just fine, nothing to see here..
And never mention it again.

No problems at all.
- mind you don't get sand in your eyes btw..

You're not making any sense, people aren't allowed to take breaks now?

Living one's life is now a 'distraction' in your eyes?

Just stop believing your own bullsh*t for once.

As I've alluded to many, many times not everyone has been affected to the extent that others have so why should it be at the forefront of our minds and to us it's 'fine' enough and there is nothing to see.

I'm off to Chester races on Friday with another set of lads and I doubt we'll be discussing Brexit then either, is this also a 'distraction' or simply a day out?

You think I don't know that many people don't care about the consequences of the brexit they voted for.??

And will avoid taking responsibility for any of the mess that it's made for so many people.

That's bullshit of the very highest order..
Or are you pleased about the trouble it's caused, for no discernible benefit .??

Maybe you are, you do seem to quite enjoy laughing at, or dismissing as unimportant, other people's troubles.

Why you have to come on the brexit thread repeatedly to tell us how little you care, and how little it has affected you, is a mystery to me , is it something to be proud of??

You don't appear to care about much , you lurk on on the politics and current affairs thread just so as to tell us how little you care about any of it..

That's your perogative, just let other people pick up the pieces, and suffer the consequences.

That's just their tough luck right ??

Not your responsibility.

Well done.

To be fair, I think a lot of us can usually work out whether or not someone 'voted for it' without their having to explicitly say so..

There are often 'other' clues 🧐

Less that, more that I've been out with sundry pals a lot over the last few weeks and not once has erectile dysfunction been mentioned though I know for a fact most of them will have experienced it.
How to explain such reticence?
