Strange that as you need to beat us on Sunday to have any chance of winning the league?

I know you're not the sharpest tool in the box but I assume you know your own teams fixtures?

Hey, you want to self-identify as a Baggie or whatever, that's up to you but we ALL know where your REAL loyalties lie don't we?

Ok Labour Peeps, Can you answer this.

Two councils in Scotland have deals done between Labour and the Tories. South Lanarkshire, which voted majority SNP, now have Labour back in charge after they did a deal with the Tories.

Moray Council have their minority Tory administration back in charge, again despite the majority of the public votes beng for SNP (as in S Lanarkshire) because they did a deal with Labour.

Whose side are Labour on? They're happy to deal with a bunch of ultra right wing BJ supporters just to get their hands on power. Doesn't bode well for the next GE and Labour wonder why they've lost Scotland?

This is pretty normal in council elections where party alliances play second fiddle to local realities.

It'll be Covid or Ukraine, that's the issue.

How nice. It was after 10pm on a Friday night so it has to be assumed some, erm...'refreshment' was involved in you using such a term.

I'm not surprised. He's used similar terms in the past and when challenged claims it's a problem with the person who called him out.

This from the Mail online, I won't link it.

Britain faces summer of shortages on supermarket shelves after just one in four seasonal crop pickers turn up to work in some areas

  • Julian Marks, from Barfoots, said worker situation was getting 'pretty desperate'
  • He warned some areas were missing up to 75 per cent of their seasonal workers
  • The Government 'fully acknowledged' the issue and says it is trying to 'mitigate'
  • The impacts of Brexit and delays in issuing temporary visas have been blamed
"Turn up to work" is doing an awful lot of lifting here.

To save you looking, the comments are roughly 70:30 you were warned, but there's a smattering of "scaremongering", "stop paying benefits" and "bring back land girls".

Bring back 'land girls' from where.??

From what I've seen we're already out there working

But the level of ignorance, about how, and from where food 'magically' turns up in the shops, who does this skilled work, and how, is quite breathtaking...

And that's just from the supposedly 'intelligent' people in government ..

I suppose we could plant some land girl seeds or something, but then who would harvest the crop?
