Now, what could be the reason for this Nat, all those rubber dinghies blocking up the channel no doubt?

She is a bag of useless schitt. She voted and promoted this! She has done fark-all for the local constituents over this.
We drove by on Saturday, the queue went-on to beyond Ashford. Nothing moving, no facilities. Due to an error (maybe) some trucks had also blocked the 2nd carriageway for several miles trapping loads of families with kids trying to get to the ferries for half-term.
It's an utter shitshow for truckers, residents and regular ferry users.
Why they don't use Manston airfield again as they did during covid I don't know. That worked well and facilities were provided.
Sometime some poor sap will be charged with having to literally clean-up the piles of faeces by the roadside...and it won't be utterfarkwitt Natalie....

Yes Natalie - building more roads to park the trucks on is really the answer...you stupid kknutt

My MP but more importantly in this context, he’s the actual Technology Minister.

Believe what?

I don't need to 'believe' anything do I, you make your own luck in life and carve your own path in my opinion so whichever party are in power I just get on with my life (which has panned out ok up to yet) and take little notice of things which I have no power over.

Believe what you've fell for.

Honestly, I believe there's enough in you to not give up and put you on ignore like some of the more lost causes on here because you occasionally get it right. And your own 'luck' is dictated by those you cravenly use the term 'power' about. They do want you to think of them in those terms don't they but in reality, they only have what we - the electorate allow them to wield over us.

Here's something about people making their own luck; my wife's career is in nursing those with disabilities and serious illnesses who are currently in the education system. She is dealing with some families (several of these) who have to decide should they pay the electricity to ventilate their sons and daughters through each fraught night OR do they pay the petrol costs to drive that child to their major hospital to receive vital treatment. What would YOU do - Mr. Fortunate - if you were in their position? You can't do both, not with costs as they currently are. If you DON'T pay the electricity bill then you'll get cut off and your child's survival each night is down to pure luck as there'll be no ventilator to pump life into the arteries, veins and lungs of your child. If you pay full costs, then how will you get your darling child to hospital for treatment? These problems have never occurred before by the way, things have never been this bad in these children's lifetimes. Quick, time's running out on this one.

1/6" ferrules with two 0.4mm holes to fit a 1/4" nut and twin 0.25mm ID GC columns. The GC itself is displaying pressure in psi and flow in mL/min, vacuum in Pa, velocity in cm/sec. Retention time is decimal, in minutes.

I would probably do what everyone else who's been dealt a bad hand would, my best in the circumstances.

What would you do apart from moan and talk b0llox about 'what the Kop sing'.

I was wrong. You're PNG for me now.

you're Scottish aren't you so I guess you have a reason to dislike anything English if you're in favour of independence,

You never do talk much sense but that ☝️ is not what being in favour of independence involves.

as would I.

That’s the difference though, isn’t it? You have a Little Englander mentality that can’t comprehend cultures or lives outwith your narrow, isolated perspective.

I'm sure you can but you're still putting a slur on people who think differently to you on this occasion, understandably so as you aren't English.

I am "putting a slur", as you quaintly put it, on  some people who think differently to me. Otherwise known as criticism, which is not unknown on this forum, including from yourself.

My criticism was not about Englishness, but about Britishness, but then you make a habit of not actually reading the meaning of the posts you criticise, so I expect nothing else.

Whether I like it or not the Queen is still my Queen and the pints in Wales are the same size as the pints in England and not 0.4 litres, so my views on the topic of Britishness are as valid as yours.

Quiet right, I am not aware on anywhere where a pint is 0.4l, in the UK it is 0.568l and the US 0.473l. Not only is imperial outdated, but is confusing when the US system (which predates imperial) is also in use.

Why does it bother you so much though?

Did you, as a younger man think to yourself "what a load of boll0x all this measuring shyte is, it's not even 'British' " or did you just use it and give no more thought about it like most people.

But, now there's an opportunity to get all anti UK or whatever you want to call it you go off on one?

Having said all that you're Scottish aren't you so I guess you have a reason to dislike anything English if you're in favour of independence, as would I.

You really do struggle to understand the issues behind an argument other than at a very simplistic level don't you.

I know you like to portray yourself as just a simple sort of person but there's no need to be so literal.
