I'm quite sure Cookie will be straight back onto apologise 'again' after his milky bedtime drink .
Puts a ❌ on my Xmas card listNo, I won't.
I don't do favourites....anyone is fair game😁
I may be wrong but I'm not sure this is a Brexit phenomenon, I was under the impression that the whole of Europe was facing gas shortages, mainly due to Russia reducing the supply.Yay,
Just trying to sort out energy for next year. 2 options on comparison sites and all have nearly doubled my monthly cost.
£112pcm to over £200pcm.
Now that is a classic, one person blaming Brexit on their energy bill going up, another one saying it isn't but still able to find something to slag the 'Brexiteers' off for. Some have suggested that leaving the EU internal energy market has meant UK has been hit harder.
Full Fact say this is not the case: https://fullfact.org/online/gas-prices-brexit/
But then the Brexiteers promised lower prices one we were out so it looks like that was yet another illusory gain.
How do you know it wouldn't have been even more expensive?@shep
Two different issues (a) is Brexit partly to blame for gas prices going up - apparently not (b) Gove and others advocating for Brexit said we would get cheaper fuel outside - has it happened?.
Is it that hard to comprehend?
It's alright, Liz Truss has a tank and she's gonna sort the Russians out. We'll be fine.@shep
