Based on the photo I think all you need to do is cover the window, take the door off it's hinge and replace it with a padlocked steel panel (albeit, I've not looked at the virtual tour to confirm what's now in place of the door).

Ha, hadn't noticed that. It's obviously very symbolic (more subtle than a human bone), plus is a puzzle that needs solving in order to enter.

It is the door to the cellar next to the sinister wooden crate
