Ugh. Couldn't get the bedroom below 26C last night and I feel a bit carp this morning. But at least that should be the worst one for now out of the way.

I have a cousin who lives in Panama, he was flexing yesterday the fact that they were only going to get to 32C

27C minimum last night at home, with today being the hottest day at around 35C and overnight minimum of 22C.
This is the second time this year I have come back from Spain to exactly the same conditions.

Does that constitute a trend?, May we blame you for global warming? 😊

Similar here. Car thermometer was reading 38.5c when I went out to M&S yesterday early evening (to discover it was closed as their power had gone out due to heat).

Hmm, might yet bring a mattress downstairs tonight to where it's still 25C, whereas the bedroom's already 27. Need to sleep better tonight. What it must be like in London and Paris if no aircon, I daren't imagine.

It's not nice. I'm just outside London. 36 degrees here at the moment. About 30 in the house I think. Definitely one or two degrees higher in the bedroom. I have a couple of 18 inch recirculating fans which are helping a lot. It's a warm and noisy wind, but at least it's wind.
