No, because as pointed out further up the thread, they tend to be on zero hours contracts.

You got supporting evidence for that?

Even those (slightly) above NMW often get paid overtime, most private sector care staff, for example. Plus of course NHS Nursing staff get paid overtime.

Quite a proportion of the working population there.

There's a good number of Greens who also got elected in May but who are not councillors today. Probably in percentage terms, it's higher.

My daughters work in a pub under a zero hours contract (student job). There's no overtime, and the only day that there's any kind of extra pay is Christmas day. The other workers that are full time are under the same conditions. From what my daughters say of their friends in other pub chains or retail the situation is the same. I've heard that among supermarkets only Lidl and Aldi pay overtime.

Regarding care jobs, the situation is mixed. I know people who get overtime and people who work under similar conditions to zero hours contracts.

There are a few, but mainly because they were ineligible (which is still inexcusable). By and large, they have not been suspended or forced to resign due to inappropriate conduct. I believe one Green Party member has been suspended for anti semitic social media posts. The hit rate for Reform Councillors, candidates and general party members is far higher.

There is no point trying to compare other parties with Reform. Ever since they started putting candidates forward for any elected office, Reform have had numerous people shown to have inexcusable past and present behaviours, often related to bullying, harrassment and racism. There is a very simple reason for this, Reform's policies attract people with certain views and attitudes. This is not left or liberal snobbery, it is a simple fact.
