For much of the electorate? Yes. Even sophisticated analysts of politics like us can be turned off by apparent shiftiness so yes, it's entirely conceivable that Starmer could miss an undefended goal.

But, I would agree reference much of the electorate, and, for "much", I would put the figure at 50%+

Labours last manifesto at least had a vision,they knew austerity was wrong had some good ideas to try and tackle things...it's just bleak in the Labour party now.There doesn't seem to be anything and we're in a even worse position.

Never mind the exciting and charismatic...some personality, or even originality, would do so we have some idea why we should vote for him rather than just not vote for them.
