Perhaps you need to take a breath and remind yourself who just got elected with a massive majority, 411 seats, and compare it to Nigel Farage's 5 seats.

What is going on now on SM is just fluff and people will tire of it.

Gee, thanks for that, Rusty. It had never occurred to me. Have the galaxy-brained briefcases considered deploying policy and rhetoric on the subject that doesn't simply hand the entire territory to the far right on a plate?

Never mind that.

I want to hear more from you about how the Musk-Farage nexus is going to take over the world

It may have occurred to you but it is clearly the elephant in the room in this thread about Starmer's popularity. Much more fun for you to display your usual overblown rhetoric to lay the blame for all the current woes of Labour on your bete-noir Starmer's misfiring performance so far.

I am sure that none of "galaxy-brained briefcases" have realised how simple your proposed solution would be. You are wasted in the theatre and should get a job as a SPAD. Simples!

On another matter:
Has Starmer (or any of his goons) yet managed to utter a word in defence of Jess Phillips, who is being openly attacked by Musk?

Wes Streeting (Goon-in-Chief) has taken your other suggestion to heart:

If Starmer is ousted at least we have someone you can really get behind to take over.

Not to mention the Home Secretary, Yvette Cooper, addressing yesterday the subject of Musk's remarks.

Awaits the inevitable snark from. Claudine who will try and tell us that Starmer should have flown to the US to personally call Musk a cûnt to his face, and that he didn't shows he's a Nazi.

Back to Farage though.

A few weeks ago nobody was talking about Farage. Then, in true Farage style, he slimed his way into a photo opportunity with Musk and sparked a rumour that Musk was going to bankrolling Reform. Everybody, Claude included, lost their heads and Farage has been basking in his own self-generated hype. Even this morning he got a prime spot interview on Sunday Kuenessburg crowing away.

What a crash landing for him a couple of hours later

Hilariously this was entirely predictable. It's like some of you have forgotten the pedo-guy incident or have never bothered to actually read Musk's twitter feed. You should...it is utterly unhinged and not worthy of retort, regardless of how rich he is.

The Musk Trump relationship will go exactly the same way.

Allow me to quote myself from a conversation with a friend elsewhere:-
Funnily enough I can't see Musk getting on with someone like Farage - too calculating and phony, and perhaps more difficult to manipulate. But Musk is an alarming harbinger of a future where the mega-rich control our lives. But perhaps he'll self-destruct.

Again, pause...think...then post.

Maybe wipe the egg off your face first

You've proved a bit disappointing as Starmer's CC fluffer, at least since he came into power. A lot of energy expended on the insinuation that everything I write is unhinged, plus a lame attempt to trail some big Starmer reveal, when the great progressive outcomes of his hidden strategic brilliance become clear, and the scales fall from our eyes. Perhaps you could help by laying out, in plain English, what you admire about the current regime?

Oh that's good, I guess. I mean, if someone like me is moved to defend Phillips (who has basically spent the last ten years helping to bury the left) then I guess it means that other people who matter more are maybe a bit taken aback by how much of a ruthless self-interested shit Streeting is, and he's had to rein it in a bit.

Has he back-pedalled at all on inviting the loony racist billionaire to "roll up his sleeves"and help with the pogroms?

Well, this very post encapsulates your problem beautifully.

You've spent over a year creating this alternate fantasy universe where I am "Starmer's fluffer", and you keep on with this weird bullshìt that I have said there will be a "big reveal", despite me saying, repeatedly, that this government has a very limited range of choices in front of them, all of which are shìt.

You use phrases like "strategic brilliance", not me, and then finally you have the gall to request that I lay out "in plain english" what I admire about his government. You've spent over a year constantly setting up endless straw men, with your ridiculous overblown prose, and now you are requesting "plain english" from me, in the vain hope of setting up another one for you to attack because you want to deflect from the absolute mare of a day you've had watching your putative 'nailed on cert' Farage-Musk dictatorship dissolve in front of your eyes in a single tweet

I'm not playing your dull game, Claudine. If you want to know what I think about anything then read my posts. They are written in about as unequivocal terms as is humanly possible, and if something isn't there it's because it isn't there, never will be, and there is no point you trying to pretend that it is.

  • People killed by the Starmer Government: 0 so far.
  • Illegal activities carried out: 0 so far
  • Interest rates, stable and slowly decreasing
  • GDP Forecast + 0.8%
  • Money spent on vanity projects, mistresses, and giving contracts to mates: 0% so far
  • Number of wars started: 0 so far
It's not outstanding by any means, and could be doing far more, but thus far Starmer has supplied stability and reliability. Maybe that's better than some utter moron screeching about small boats and trying to work out how to embezzle money so that they can get a cushy job when they leave Politics?
