The only obvious thing is that you seem to believe everything GB News tells you despite it barely being considered a news channel and having multiple open OFCOM investigations. Approval ratings are pretty meaningless and always collapse immediately after a new party / leader take over because people don't tend to appreciate that things take time to do. It's likely that ratings will improve after the spring budget review when the ruling party will have a much better idea about what they can and cannot do.

The only party improving in the ratings is, unsurprisingly, the populist party because it appeals to gullible morons who don't question the veracity of what they are being told. It's the equivalent of a group of children evaluating that "Sharon is the best mummy because Sam and Ellie get to eat jelly whenever they want, have the latest toys and computer games, can watch TV until midnight and get all the chocolate they want".
