Germany has been left wing for decades. Italy won't be sending anyone neither will many others. It's Starmer and Macron pushing men on the ground and planes in the sky. Soon as that happens, war will be in Europe and the UK.

Are you suggesting then, Macron and Starmer are planning an Invasion of Russia?

Lol at Angela Merkel being 'left-wing'

Macron is right-wing, and Starmer is centrist.

Trump style of creating own truth only works with morons, CXR.

No I'm saying if Starmer and Macron put our men on the ground, Russia will decide that they are legitimate targets. Then you me and the rest of the world are on another level of conflict. We are talking continental ballistic missile attacks

Jeez...

They are being proposed as peacekeepers, AFTER a peace deal has been agreed. Im glad however, we are finally agreeing that Russia are the aggressors and invaders, though. Progress...

It seems though, Trumpovski's bending over and presenting to Putin has backfired. After, cutting aid, intelligence sharing and "removing launch keys" from the Himars system in Ukraine, presumably in some sort of gesture to Putin to say we're ready for the full capitulation deal, Russia did not comply as expected. They instead launched a huge wave of attacks on Ukraine, which may have angered Uncle Trumpovski. Proof, that Putin cannot and should not be trusted. This is just the beginning...

Off course they did, to take as much ground as possible. Trump warned Zelensky he was dabbling in major escalation, the USA were not going to be helping in prolonging the conflict. Zelensky had an opportunity to begin a peace, instead he chose to battle on understanding the US would not back him. Zelensky is now in a no win , rapid loss situation

The point is, it was made after Trump had cut intelligence sharing and shut off the himars system. The whole point was (in Trumps view) to bring Putin in to discuss the capitulation deal. Instead, Putin gave Trump the 🖕and used it to his advantage. It is reported that Trump is pretty livid about it. After all, how can Trump claim it's for Peace, when Russia launches a major wave of attacks after claiming Russia wants peace and Trump delivers Ukraine on a silver platter? It was a major part of his media campaign.

Russia made Trump look like a sausage. Which i have to admit, isn't difficult.

Trumps first step was to get Zelensky to agree a peace with mineral rights deal. So US would feel they were going to get paid back. Russia would likely agree with what they had taken and an uneasy peace may have began.

Zelensky prior to meeting Trump met with senior democrats, who told him not to agree.

Zelensky now is scrambling around Europe EU I'm the hope they will defend Ukraine and give $250bn

Wonder if they include the same minerals as used in EV batteries. Not to mention the titanium, used in military aircraft?

Makes you wonder exactly who's demanding what.

That offer for the nice house at the end of the Mall is still good if you're interested.

So let's recap:

Trump wants a mineral deal entirely on his terms, despite Zelensky's concerns.
Trump cannot get the deal he wants so withdraws all military support.
Putin takes advantage and takes even more of Ukraine.
Without US pressure Putin will not agree to a ceasefire so there is no call for other nations to put any troops in.
Without the US military and intelligence support, Putin eventually takes all of Ukraine.
Trump makes a mineral deal with Putin.

YTSandy jerks another one off thinking of Trump's brilliance.

Daft thing about the "minerals deal" is how it highlights Trump spouting lies again and again. One moment he's telling us how he just wants to stop all these beautiful people from getting killed, next he's stopping Ukraine being effective at preventing civilian deaths (through stopping intelligence sharing).

Minerals deals are irrelevant to peace. Peace deals do not in any way need a minerals deal. All the peace Trump keeps talking about, how "only he knows" what the Russians will respond to, it's a fiction in Trump's wild imagination being played so he can claim a win making US richer and blame Zelenskyy for no actual peace (he'll think of as payback for Trump's 1st impeachment 'cos he really really hates Zelenskyy).

But UK and (some) EU leaders will spend hours flattering his ego, feeding his narcissism which makes him happy whilst making Europe/UK look weak.
