I thought so too, which is why I posted it in its entirety.

Well done guys! Another woman in a position of power has been forced to resign. If she was a white, middle age bloke she would’ve been fine.

Well done! You must be so proud. *slow handclap*

BTW, I’m not and never have been a Labour voter or supporter but I can see double standards and misogyny a mile off.

I very much doubt that Starmer took advice from this forum.

You missed out her "working class" background 😂

I may have miss-understood, it has been known, but, I thought the Deputy Leader / Deputy Prime Minister role was decided by the Labour Party Membership?

So, they have polled approximately 300,000 people, and got a result, in 48 hours?, I am impressed.

The thread is about Starmer's vision as you keep pointing out the indiscretions of his MP's have nothing whatsoever to do with his 'vision'.

Reverting to cheap insults and trying to suggest other forum members are stupid is a bit silly to be honest. Let's keep it civil and not act like plonkers.

Really, you mean the "indiscretions" have no impact on Starmer's implementation of his vision?

You really are making yourself look a fool. Especially when you post about what Boris Johnson did...that have even less to do with Starmer's vision quest

If you keep making yourself look stupid, then don't be surprised if you get called out for it

Different roles

Deputy PM is a role in hands of PM to decide

Deputy Leader of Labour Party is decided by the members.

In theory they could be different people

It will be interesting to see how the reshuffle affects:
1. Starmer's implementation of his vision
2. The standing of Starmer and the Labour Party with the electorate
In some respects, I feel sorry for the new ministers in their posts as they are stuck with the budgets set after the last spending review, which was set when they obviously were not in post. It's just an unfortunate side effect of the timing of the reshuffle

Very good. Night night little chap, I am sure Nurse will be round shortly with your medication, you don't want to get too excitable as we know what happened last time.

I know it is. Maybe you can explain how his situation is the same as Rayners viz a viz underpayment of tax - in a reasonable amount of detail.
It isn't. Rayner acted with integrity and the tax mistake was due to a complex set of rules that she did not set out to breach. Farage has no integrity and his tax avoidance was deliberate because although he pretends to be a patriot he's a feckless liar, tax dodger, scrounger and arse-licker.
